Executive Committee

The Committee on the Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement of Underrepresented Minority Faculty, in partnership with the Office of the Provost, guides the development and implementation of initiatives to address issues and concerns specifically associated with the hiring, retention, and advancement of minority faculty at UMBC.  Launched in 2010, this Committee is responsible for the creation of the Postdoctoral Fellowship for Faculty Diversity, the institutionalization of the Eminent Scholar Mentoring Program, the acquisition of Interfolio: Faculty Search, and the foundation of the STRIDE Committee. The Committee also serves as the Selection Committee for the Postdoctoral Fellowship for Faculty Diversity.
