International Faculty Association

The International Faculty Association was created to foster a more welcoming and connected campus environment for international faculty members. The group facilitates mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities tailored to the unique experiences of international scholars.

Our goal is to increase the visibility of international faculty and advocate for their concerns not only within academic settings, but also in relation to the everyday challenges they may encounter in a new cultural context.

UMBC Affinity Groups are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University’s nondiscrimination policy.
