Mrs. Gibbs joined the Office of Faculty Affairs in August 2015 as an Executive Assistant. In this role, Mrs. Gibbs provides administrative support for the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and is the primary contact and operations coordinator for the office. In addition, she provides administrative support for:
- The Adjunct Faculty Advisory Committee (AFAC)
- Faculty Awards:
- Board of Regents Faculty Awards
- Presidential Professor Faculty Awards
- Marilyn E. Demorest Award for Faculty Advancement
- College Faculty Awards
- Berman Foundation Chair in Entrepreneurship
A native of Philadelphia, Mrs. Gibbs attended Temple University. She has been a staff member at UMBC since 2002; previously holding positions in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Campus Life.
